These bearings are typically used in HVAC systems where long operating cycles, variable temperatures, and humidity changes are common. Depending on application requirements, materials such as chrome steel, stainless steel, or ceramic can be selected to match different environmental conditions.

The service life of air conditioner bearings depends on operating conditions, load level, lubrication quality, and maintenance frequency. Under normal conditions with proper lubrication, typical service life ranges from 8 to 15 years. In environments with high humidity, poor ventilation, or overload conditions, service life may be significantly reduced.

Failure Indicators

Common signs of bearing wear or damage in air conditioning systems include abnormal noise (such as humming, squeaking, or grinding), vibration, reduced cooling efficiency, motor overheating, or lubricant leakage near the bearing housing.

When these symptoms occur, the system should be inspected and damaged components replaced to avoid secondary damage to motors or compressors.
